Re: AF Group Build- Air Cooled!

Yay, I got some modeling time! I love the 911 so I'll have a go at the 993 GT2 (Tamiya Taisan Starcard). WIP here.

Re: AF Group Build- Air Cooled!

I'm new to the board and have been lurking for a few weeks. I'm really enjoying seeing all the building going on here I build early Porsche models in 1/43rd.

Here's a 356 Carrera motor from a Bosica kit I built:

It's not a contest, it's a group build.

Oh... you're right... sorry !
Well, maybe there should be an Aircooled Contest then !

VAG rules (Ok, Porsche too but they are so connected that they are in the same family for me) !!

Re: AF Group Build- Air Cooled!

Sigh. It's been so long since I've worked on the Beetle. It's sitting in the garage waiting to be completed. Maybe when the weather warms back up, I can pull it out and finish it.

Re: AF Group Build- Air Cooled!

How much longer is this group build going to last? I noticed that the deadline for the finish has come and gone. Are we still taking in new entries or are we waiting for the next build? I have a couple of subjects out of which I could add and start building, but I havent entered because of the time frame ending. If we will be starting a new one soon then I can wait for the next build.

I was just wondering.

Thanks
