Need clutch help and opinion please
hey guys, i can feel and hear the clutch going on my 97 si, i need recommendations on what i should get whats stage 1 2 and 3 ? does it matter its for everyday driving and rarely on track........

the stages depend on the level of your motor if its all done out then three if every day driver then oem if uncertain level 2 would require a descent amount of mods to be done to the car and also check the master cylinder for the clutch maybe your low on fluid

stages can mean diff things for each company... for example.. ACT stage 2 may not have the same torque rating as an Exedy Stage 2... what you need to do is look at each clutches torque rating and choose the one that best fits your needs.

Need clutch help and opinion please
I drove my brothers 5.0 mustang and he says it has a racing clutch, its real nice and stiff, can i get a clutch that is stiff what specs do i look for ?

the "stiffness" is caused by the pressure plate. you can get an organic plate and upgraded pressure plate to keep clutch engagement noise down but give a stiffer pedal

Better get a mechanic, if it does not work!just buy a new one like i did,.i got Acura cl clutch kit, it consider the right application you need to determine the type of driving situation you will be in.
