this guy showed up yesterday at the Bowlplex (where the arcade is situated and opposite my work) with a 1,500,000 point white RX7
I managed to get my Silvia S15 into some course records but i still can't beat bunta with it ..............its soooo slow
the guy with the RX7 didn't shift at the red line either he first went to like 4500 then 5000 then something else then redlined it to shift to fifth

1500000 is nothing in ver. 2. I asw a guy with a 9 million point EVO 7. And damn he knew how to use it. He was really fast.
I wanted to get teh S15, but everyone advised me against it cos its just so slow. The only good 6 speed car is the Altezza followed by the GDB, which is wierd cos the GDB has a 6th going about 140 kms compared to the altezzas 170. People only use the GDB cos its got really good grip and fast accel in 3rd and 4th. So its really good for Iro.

this is version one!
If you get a Hachi Roku and take the Takumi route
when you get the engine it becomes the fastest car in the game :o

i was just wandering if any1 knew the points order that u have to get time after time to get upgrades on the cars...i really need to know....i really hate having to blow alot of money on the game of knowing when i get my next up grade.
ive got the new wheels and exhaust and stuff...i was wandering what points i have to earn to get the next upgrades.......see i guess the main point of it is that i really want my car to become fast and i get so pissed off when my friend thinks he's all that with his gay skyline gtr -r32...he heaps gives me the shits..so could ya'll be able to help out in letting me know

as far as i know the EVO's dont get the misfiring system, and you need 60,000 points to get the car fully customized. after that comes the maintenance and dont bother wasting your points on the rims they do nothing.

The trueno's not the fastest car in the game, the FD is. The Trueno is a close second and about even on akina.
Also, the upgrades don't help all that much. A 465,000 point car is only about 4-5 seconds faster than a 0 points car. A 60,000 is about 2-3 seconds faster.
The main thing is to just drive well and don't hit the walls because that stops your acceleration. It's a very unrealistic game but for the arcade it's quite good. And as for bunta, just do time trials on akina DH at night. I've got my time down to about 3:08. You need just a second or two faster than that to beat Bunta.

still havent gotten ver. 2 over here yet, as for heel toe isnt it pointless if you can shift to neutral . and what do you mean by hard to control, is it fish tailing. if so countersteer very quickly and only for a split second, it should stabalize the car.

Um, I'm more interested in just how the hell he's doing it seeing as how theres no clutch on the Initial D game

yeh i know it's weird but i kinda figured mah own style of doing the drifting.....i know theres no clutch...
it goes lyke this......eg:
the 1 hairpin in myogi:
ur go down nearly just about say an approx estimate distance lyke 5 0r 6 meters b4 the hairpin u in it at 5 gear then go down to 4 gear, lightly hit the brake with the heel of ur right foot and at the same time hit the acceleration with the toes or ur right foot as much as u can...if u cant seem to redline it....take it down to the next anutha gear, then b4 exiting the turn take it up a gear and countersteer at the exit of the turn...
yeh i know it's alot to do......but it's not to bad...i dont know why i'm giving mah self a hard time...i just lyke the whole drifting feel and i dont know how to drive but just been doing it
eh....
ok thanx for all da feedback
