OK guys I know I sound like a total tard here but I have a couple of questions about the initial D special stage game on PS2. I have the japanese version with the game mod chip to play.
The main question is what does the first set of options say in the main menu part. And so on I want to be able to play the game knowing what options I'm in wether if its story mode or time trails or whatever.
The second question, how do I know if I saved the game or not.
PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A web site or just guide me thru it or something. THANX folks.

Re: Initial D by Sega Rosso
GD, you type in the style that the Tokyopop characters speak...
If your friend lost to an R34 on Akagi, and he was using an FD, it means there is a large skill difference present, a VERY large difference.
The PS2 game(Initial D: Special Stage) is found on EBay and such, but you need to able to play it...Australia is PAL right? You need modchip/fliptop/or slidecard in order to play. The game sells for 50 or so on EBay and 60 on play-asia. The arcade game is a miniature Arcade Stage with more tracks, more music, and all that good stuff. The layout is the same as in Arcade Stage, so you got to be pretty stupid to not know whats on your car, even if its all equipped on your car spinning in front of your face...

dude v. 3 is the best initial d yet. wish they didnt take most of the song away, but what can you do? The reason you get crappier times is because the game is slowed down in a way. Its alot harder. In a way more realistic. Im currently using a 246k point AE86. My fastest time on akina is terrible, but im hoping to break my record today. I did alot of study on the course and figured out alot of strong points. Dowbhill time 3'14'896

alright, i love initial d. this is one old ass thread. anyway, i just played arcade stage, version 3...i lost to the fucking ae85!!! i thought id get him off the line, but he got the jump and everthing. the arcade that has the game is an hour away, but i dont care, its an awesome game. i used an evoiii, but i just want to play a bit more to get used to it...then ill try hardest...for a single play, it costs 1.50...but i dont care, i have a job and few bills to pay...heh...
