It like how it looks and Porsche was smart to make a SUV.

I see what your saying. Porsche may have carried over a lottle too much styling from their cars to the Cayenne. If you look at the Cayenne next to a 911, it does looked like someone used photoshop to stretch and chop a 911 into the Cayenne. However, I am not changing my mind at all. I still love this SUV and it is and will be one of my favorites... Till Lamborghini's comes out.

Basically this is the best SUV produced yet- Notably the Turbo- Big, roomy, comfy (I have sat in one) 0-100km/h in 5.5 seconds nd mammoth off-road ability, plus all the creature comforts and luxury onw would expect- the Cayenne also beats the X5 onroad I hear
perfection indeed
as soon as I can afford onwe I'm jumpin on the bandwagon

I saw my first Cayenne today, (an S) it looked big, imposing, and not as ugly as i thought it would. It does however need a facelift, with the front lights changed to a rounder shape, the top air "inlet" taken out of the front airdam, and definitely bigger alloys! It didnt look bad though, far from it, and i think it'll grow on me very quickly.
Its a brave move by Porsche and the car (SUV) is supposed to be extremely good, so im glad theyve done it, and done well. Small companies like Porsche need $ to stay independent and if making SUV's is the way to do it, then so be it. It betrays Porsche's heritage in that it isnt a sports car, but it adheres to Porsche's goal of making technically excellent cars.
The Cayenne gets a big thumbs up from me

to the first part: No it's not, are you high? This is a great thing, Id buy one if I had the money.
Second part: Is that a question or a statement? you trailed off.... and why would this ruin the reputation of one of the best exotic manufacturars? That was kind of an ignorant statement....

I didn't like the Cayenne until I saw it in person. Now I like it. But it could look better. What I mean by better is a lower stance and 19" wheels. Okay thats not a lot, but it would be really cool and cool handle really good.

Looks? If it is indeed going to be a "utility" vehicle, then I'm going to wait until I hear how it performs, as so far I've not heard anything about it's capabilites off road. Not that many are going to end up off road, because they are SUVs, and face it, few of these vehicles ever get the chance to fufill their design intent.

Why wouldn't I? When I get a chance at a scanner I'll post a picture of it in the Yugo forums. But let's not go off on a Tangent right now.

I have to agree with the Cayenne needing bigger alloys. Im sure they'll be made available, whether they're factory or not is the question. Nm, Gemballa, RUF, Techart, there'll be no shortage of choice
