Looks awesome! If the government ever has a vote to change the plates to European style I vote 'YES'. It just looks right on the car.

less is more, im in australia, theres a black diablo ive seen a few times here, it just says "bull". have you seen australian plates? theyre 6 characters (except for the Northern territory, which no has 7) and nice and plain. ive also seen at car shows here you can have ones made with whatever you want on them, they look the same, theyre just fake, so you cant use them, but if youre thinking of actually putting plates from another country on your car, i dont see what differance itd make.. "oh sorry officer, i was just going on a long drive, and just ended up in your country without noticing, somehow i managed to drive arcoss water aswell, ohwell you can do these things when you filthy stinking rich, so here, ill pay off your mortgage, and we'll just forget about the whole deal shall we?"

No, dude, that is a great idea. Unfortunately he has an ORANGE LAMBORGHINI! and any police officer who is looking for him, or trying to write a ticket, or whatever, need not wait long, because someone is going to see him, hehe. If a police officer catches him speeding, then he or she can call the others in the area and they will find him very soon...
Still, it is a funny idea. Maybe I will do it for my Saturn Wagon ; )

I know this isn't so cool for you European folks. But I'm an American and the Euro plate looks really cool to me.
Any bets on how long until I get a ticket?

Thats cool. And "Ensemble" is a nice word. Mysterious.
A unit or group of complementary parts that contribute to a single effect, especially:
A coordinated outfit or costume.
A coordinated set of furniture.
A group of musicians, singers, dancers, or actors who perform together: an improvisational theater ensemble; a woodwind ensemble.
Music:
A work for two or more vocalists or instrumentalists.
The performance of such a work.
--From dictionary.com
Why did you choose it (for the company name)?

That's the plate the Corvette guy had that almost died in a street race against a 6.0 Diablo. Diablo driver died along with the driver of the car he hit. Video on Kazaa.

Here's some details on that accident:
http://www.914.qc.ca/auto_rants.html :

Two Die in NY Car Drag Race
OCEANSIDE, N.Y. (AP) -- The street where a pair of drag-racing sports cars careened out of control, killing two people including an innocent motorist, is a popular spot for racing, residents say. Sunday's wreck left the cars unrecognizable twisted lumps of metal, with debris strewn along the roadway.
Residents in this Long Island suburb said racing, and wrecks, were common on that strip of road. ``It's known for racing,'' resident Stu Nagel said. ``Almost every week, there's an accident.'' Witnesses told police that the drivers of a Lamborghini and a Corvette were speeding and weaving in and out of traffic for several blocks before the Lamborghini smashed head-on into a Volvo. Killed in the crash were Michael Vasapolli, 30, who was driving the 2001 Lamborghini, and the Volvo's driver, Glenn Jacofsky, 43.
The Corvette, which had a vanity plate that read, ``LOV2XLR8'' (Love to Accelerate), lost control and hit a parked school bus, police said. Its driver, Kevin Hart, 27, was treated for minor injuries. He was charged with two counts of manslaughter and was arraigned Monday, police said. Hart, a plumber, has three speeding convictions dating to 1991, said Lt. Detective Frank Guidice, a spokesman for the Nassau County police. ``His actions contributed to the death of these other people,'' Guidice said. ``These cars would not have been racing if he did not consent to race,'' he said.
According to police, Vasapolli crossed into the northbound lanes to pass another car but could not get back into the southbound side fast enough to avoid hitting Jacofsky. Vasapolli, who worked in a family construction business in Brooklyn, had seven speeding convictions dating back to 1989. Jacofsky's wife, Amy Jacofsky, and Vasapolli's wife, Karen Mauro, were both taken to hospitals with injuries that were described as non-life-threatening.
Police said there was no indication that the drag race had been inspired by the movie ``The Fast and the Furious,'' which opened Friday, but interviews with family members are continuing.

(I still think the plate said LUV..., not LOV...)
---
If you watch the video clip, the reporter says that the police are charging the Corvette driver with manslaughter and are trying to increase the charges to MURDER.
---
I just found a website about the Corvette driver, Kevin Hart:
http://www.kevinhart.org/
(Incidentally, the first website was the first resulting in a Google search for the Lamborghini Diablo driver, Michael Vasapolli:
http://www.google.com/search?q=Michael+Vasapolli)
Here's the breakdown:
Quote:
Michael Vasapolli, the driver of the Lamborghini who Kevin Hart was allegedly in a race with, crossed the double yellow line and crashed head on into another car, killing himself and the innocent driver of that car.
Kevin Hart is now serving 5 to 15 years for the deaths of both Michael Vasapolli and the other driver.
The purpose of this site is to show how uninvolved Kevin Hart was in this event and how he is being held responsible for the independent actions of another person.
|
This is EXACTLY what I thought. Why is he at fault for the two deaths in Vasapolli's crash? I hope he wins a HUGE lawsuit. The media itself should be held accountable for spreading false information.
