At school a month back I was walking behind a few kids going to the bus. This horrible gray Eclipse with a Supra wing, with no mufflers on it is always revving and speeding through the parking lot thinking he's hot shit.
Well these kids of course thought it was the sweestest thing like it was a Ferrari or something But anyway they started talking about what cars they wanted to buy and "mod" up. One guy said a Cavalier and a Saturn are great cars to mod!!
I couldn't help, but laugh really loud so he could hear me. He looked at me like I was a jackass (ok maybe I was acting like one), but still entirely too funny. Are there even supercharger/turbo kits for those cars? There's one Cavalier that I pulled up next to one day at a light in my mom's '02 Maxima (auto). He had a a fugly aluminum wing on it, a fart can, and altezza taillights. He was an auto. I just looked at him like what a dork. Light turned green left him behind easily and just pulled into the parking lot at McDonald's too eat.
There's a very ugly Saturn with tons and tons of stickers on it, it's not even funny, it's sad. The only thing that it has is an intake and exhaust it still makes what 120HP

Why dont we sum it all up with screw ricers altogether. I can understand making a car look good, but adding a huge 5 deck spoiler and decals for a different makers tuning division is just stupid. Those fart can exhaust look like they would make the car loose HP not gain.

My source is an intern that has seen the next Corvette(beyond the Z06 New bad ass body style)
|
Look at that next corvette body style, then look at the rx-8... Chevy copied a lot of stuff off the rx-8 for their new corvette, just like many other body styles of corvettes ( like the first gen rx-7's and corvettes) many similarities...

Yeah there are superchargers and turbo kits for cavaliers and other crappy cars with the same 2.4, but they cost about $3500 and dont do much, probably like 20 hp. I'd say save your money and buy something that will last more than 80,000 miles.

Why are u guys bashin cavaliers and neons? Its not a domestic rice revolution, its a compact revolution. Im not racist (seriously) but it seems to me like mexicans have a big taste for red and yellow cars. Especially the mazda mx3's... I dont know whats uglier than that...Why is nobody bashin the most common sight around which is riced out civics and accords. I drive a ford zx2 (soon to be boosted with 230 whp hopefully) but i dont know if i want a flashy look or a sleeper. What do u guys think? The Buick Grand Nation is one of the most bad ass cars around

p.s. the cavalier' intertior is weak ass hell. I seriously was gonna get a 99 cav but i got inside and was like wtf is this? The shift boot (little square rubber piece with pipe stickin out). It didnt even have a tach for the 5 speed. wtf is that...? They dont make any turbo or super kits for the 2.2 or 2.3. The engine couldnt more than 200 hp probably.

I get tired of these punks who drive civics, corollas, and junk like that and call the v6 mustang a sport car wannabe. The 3.8 v6 is one of the longest lasting v6 engines ever made. The stock v6 Mustang can still out run their little ricers and it looks far better than civics and junk like that until they put a body kit on them. Ford gets a bad rap but the new GT will smoke the viper.

Yup- but Civics and Corollas are honest to thier Economy car roots- the V6 Mustang is supposed to be a sports car- but it's just an awful car- and where is your proof that the 3.8 is one of the longest lasting V6's ever???? Nowhere- they may be easy to fix- but that doesn't mean they will be reliable for long

um... GM has a Eaton Roots Charger for the 2.2L ecotec, and Hahn Racing has a turbo kit in the works, ith different stages for the 2.2L ecotec as well. Plus, I believe, that RKSport has a kit for the old 2.2L and the 2.4 Quad4 has a few kits for it by the same companies.
just look at their concept car, the Cavalier 220
remember, who cares what car you have, we are all here to APPRECIATE cars, not hate on someone for their use of expression!
