My fiance and I were coming back from a car hangout last night and almost got sideswiped by a Cavalier with a 10 ft tall wing. The guys in it thought they were the shiat. I'm all for doing stuff to a car to enhance it or to make one happy....but there are just some lacking in taste...oh well to each their own. I guess the same coould go for me...just take a look at my exhaust LOL. It doesnt sound like horde of angry bumble bees trippin on acid, but I do get revved on quite a bit. Hence as soon as I can get my car into an exhaust shop it's coming off and the stock one going back on...plus I will regain the 80 HP (not really ) I lost with this one.

You must be mistaken. Chrome only adds hp.

At a friend of mine's apartment complex there is this cavalier, with red accents all over it. It looks hideous. I should take a pic of it and upload it. By the way the mustang has 450 not the other number. I don't know what I was thinking about.

Wahoo a Viper GTS-R

no car needs a 6 litre engine. theres alot of race cars that can beat it and alot of road cars that can beat a road legal viper. Its not the best car in the world but it is the only standout american car except for the AC Cobra. But thats part British anyway

Well, the AC Cobra is and always was a British car. Still made in Britain, if I'm not mistaken...

The Shelby Cobra was marketed as an American car under the American marque Shelby.

Sorry, just being picky

correction... Vipers are 8 liter engines

you can tell it took alot of engineering and skill to get all that power out of 8 liters

I know, thus is why I cry.
A pretty well modified Plymouth Superbird, how about that?

First off it is an 8 litre engine. Second, I would like you to name one car you know of that can beat a GTS-R. Go ahead and we will see if it can. I don't know why but I don't even see it in the American LeMans anymore. And Dodge is notorious for being banned for having an unfair advantage.

As for the Cobra, I would rather have a Shelby and it is all American.

Back on the topic of stupid rice:

In my area, there are more freaking DODGE NEONs with decals of chinese symbols and blacked out windows... not to mention the "hoard of bumblebees" sound that their exhaust makes! (No offense to Kat, your car is done TASTEFULLY)

Oh, and what is the deal with people taking cars TEAL cars and applying YELLOW decals all over??? :apuke: it's disgusting, and quite the eyesore, so please stop!!!

Agreed, I get a variety of rice around here. Neons, Civics, CRX, Fieros. I even say a riced out K car.

lol.. that's horrible

Polygon: Not all civics and CRXs are rice... especially not a well modded CRX. You can make CRXs so fast. If some guy decides to drop a new engine into a CRX, then mod the hell out of it. No stickers on the outside, clean and fast... how is that rice??

the reason there isn't anymore GTS-R is because the Oreca team is sponsering LMP cars now...there are some privately entered GTS-Rs though, I have pictures. As for a car that can beat the GTS-R, how about the C5-R?
