Ready to buy

I've been lurking and participating in this section of the forum for a little while, doing my math and fincancing, and i think that I want to buy an RX7. There are actually quite a few in my area, mostly 85-88 FCs. I have my heart set on the FDs though, they have beautiful body lines, creature comforts, and rarity in one hot package. I found a '93 that seems perfect, but the price of the car is throwing me and i wonder if there's a gimmick he's not telling me about. Just wanted to get your guys' opinions.

Red, '93 FD, manual, hardtop, leather interior
49,652miles
body kit, rims, tint
inside is in "mint condition", new head unit, new speakers from Alpine
COST: $3,500 "must sell"

he didn't list anything extra beneath the hood, but he seems to have aftermarket or atleast painted bits in there.

Re: Ready to buy

Even if he meant $35,000, that's steep. Even with investments under the hood, he'd never find a buyer for that price. Common sense here, do you really think an FD would go for $3500? Even with a blown motor, a rolling chassis with a body kit and other extras will still be worth a pretty penny. Just some food for thought, but it has scam written all over it.
