Post a link to it. I'd like to see it. There are plenty of systems thaqt say the are "RAM AIR" but they really arent. I didnt think they made one for a 3.1. I also remember a discussion i read once that state that ram air really didnt do anything for performance.

Well the link states that a MAF adapter will come with the kit if needed, so I dont think that would be a problem. I did buy a similar kit for my Ranger, and it wouldnt fit at all, even when they sent me an different adaptor. I would look at these generic kits as being generic (although the page says 30 days money back guarantee).....
Did you buy it from ebay? This isnt a Ram Air Intake at all. All it is is a cold air intake and a bad one at that. A true cold air intake wont sit in the engine compartment inhaling warm air.

The one in that link says "It can increase 7-13 HP and 5-10 ft/lb of torque". I'm not the smartest guy about cars (yet) but is it possible to even gain 7 HP from an intake system? There's a reason I don't buy car parts from ebay haha.
No, this thing isnt going to increase horses at all in your grand prix. Our Moderator Richtazz said it best... "our stock airbox can flow way more air than the engine can consume" . So your wasting your money on anything like this.
There are really no feasable ways to gain more horses from a 3100 motor.
