Only took 4 days (56K warning)
Detailed the hell out of the Trans Am.
Clay bar, wash down with a 50/50 mix of alcohol and water. Did a light cut with some Menzerna using the PorterCable. Wiped off. Then polished with Prima Amigo using a polishing pad on the PorterCable. Wiped off. Then two coats of that Victorias Concours wax. Beginning... Swirls... Materials... After clay bar and wipe down.... Working on the cut... Wheels... Afters... Only thing that gets me is the orangepeel of the factory paint. That and the car is actually driven, so the front shows it. What do you think??

Ohhhhhhhhh, from the title I thought you had a 4 day 1/4 mile run
Seriously though, the car looks wicked as always. I wish the paint job on my camaro could look half as good, and that I had your patience.

That is amazing. I will have to bring my car to you so I can get it detailed. Have you ever thought about starting a detailing business? You do great looking work.

Re: Only took 4 days (56K warning)
My roommate actually does some detailing on the side.
I wouldn't be able to do it. Time would be WAY too much of an issue.

Re: Only took 4 days (56K warning)
Roommate snapped these pics last Friday. One day after I finished.
No wonder a friend told me it looked outstanding going down the road Friday afternoon.

Lous,
I've never heard of the 50/50 alcohol/H2O mix. Whats the thought process behind it if you don't mind me asking. |
