i want to post photo of my prelude

I want to put a pic of my Prelude in my sig like I see so many other ppl with car pics in their sig, but I can't seem to figure out how to get it to show up. I have them on both my computer and on different websites, so how do I get them to work properly on AF?

I know this is probably, like, the millionth time this topic has come up on this site, but it should be included in the searches or a special thread created on this frequently asked topic. I've been "searching" and generally looking through forums for 2 hrs to try to find this info.

just go to the User CP, click Edit Signature, click the little icon of the mountain and sun with the yellow background (), put in the url (http://www.blahblahblah.com) of the image, and that's it.

I did that but it wasn't showing up in the preview box, just that little square showing where a pic is supposed to go.

Think you're going to have to use a different image host. As far as I remember, I don't think the yahoo image thing has ever worked with AF. If I right click that red X, click properties, copy and paste the url into the address bar; I can see the image. But the problem is that it needs to be a direct link to the image, and yahoo doesn't do that (even if I do the above steps to the image directly on the yahoo site). The url needs to end with the file type, with nothing after it. Like it needs to end with .jpg, .gif, .bmp, etc. If there's anything after the .XXX, it won't show up.

do u know if it'll work with cardomain or myspace? if not what r some sites I can post to that'll work.

You need a photo hosting program such as photobucket. Upload your photos there then you will be given the option to link to them here. Myspace does not offer the option to link pics nor does car domain.
