zx2 fuel pump
Friday on my way home from work my car stopped running,had power though like radio lights ect.I pulled over and went to start the car all it did was crank over like there was no fuel getting to it.So obvouisly i need a fuel pump since i dont hear it turning on! Has any one replaced one in a 2003 zx2 ??? how much work involved ??? Probaly have to drop the tank ??? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I believe you get to it from under the back seat.
Before you spend the cash on a new pump, run a test wire to the fuel pump and make sure its really them problem. If a jumper wire activates the pump than its not the prob. Mine did that same thing and it ended up being the computer. Good luck let us know your findings. |

Well its not the fuel pump !! Im getting no spark !!!! Pulled off the plug from the coil and there isnt any spark,so now its a guessing game is it the Ignition coil ??? Crankshaft sensor??? Computer ??? !!!!!! Once again any info would be great.Thanks

The problem i had was the CONSTANT CONTROL MODULE its located under the air cleaner it runs the fuel pump and pretty much is the brain it runs several things so if you think its the fuel pump check for spark if no spark replace the module ! it runs about 200 bucks list.
