94 APV 3.8 Won't Start

Too bad you had to resolve the problem to that extent.......Be cautious with the 3.1/3.4.....question any signs of poor heater performance, coolant loss, erratic temp needle...etc. This block ..all across the GM lines...is reknown for head gasket failures..better safe than sorry.

well may have spoke too soon, husband thinks he has a line on a late model Plymouth van - he is going to check it out now. I am actually not real picky about what kind of minivan I get as long as it is dependable and not the ugliest thing on the road - which the Lumina APV was close - my kids called it the rolling dustbuster. They were mortified to have to ride in it. But they are teenagers so what do they know LOL. Hope everyone is having a great day!!!!
