Starter Replacement 94 4.6 Northstar
I need to install a starter motor in my mothers 1994 eldorado with the northstar.I looked up michell time and shows around 4 hours.Are there any big problems doing this job before i start tearing it apart.I have done alot of repair work but just havent torn into one of these before.Thanks Born

Is there a way to test this starter in this 4.6 to absolutly confirm this is the problem?

I have a 1994 Touring Coupe and a factory service manual. After looking at the procedure to replace this starter, I had the dealer do It. ($500.00) You might be able to do it but it sure isn't going to be easy. You might shop this job and get abetter price
