Re: camaro ss 1/4 and 1/8 times
hmmm....10 seconds....stock motor.......got it.....th400 w/ a trans brake, 4" titanium composite driveshaft, ford 9" built rear end, and some 335 straight slicks. Launch at around 4000-5000 rpm and hold on motor is still stock
might need to take a hammer to the fender wells though haha

Unless conditions are 100% perfect, I can't see it without a stall.
But to some that leaves the motor stock.

Re: camaro ss 1/4 and 1/8 times
holy @#$. imagine running 16psi in the LS1 @_@. thats like 600+ hp if you set it up right.. what do you need in our engines for that kind of boost?
(cuz 13 lbs is almost twice the power, right?)

Re: camaro ss 1/4 and 1/8 times
Forged bottom end and lower compression.
Or of course...
You could go stroker with higher compression.
I have hung with a 375 LSx with a front mount turbo at 9 PSI. From the start I pulled him hard, once he got into boost he was slowly pulling on me.
In other words...I think I could pull a stock cubed LS1 with 10-11 PSI from a turbo.

Re: camaro ss 1/4 and 1/8 times
i know a dude that stroked his LT1 to a 383 and runs nitro though it for high 10's or low 11's in the quarter. he trashed the motor when it was stock with nitro runnin through it by spinning a rod bearing or something

Re: camaro ss 1/4 and 1/8 times
I can go low 11's full weight with just my motor.
Maybe REALLY high 10's.
Full weight street car.

Re: camaro ss 1/4 and 1/8 times
Never was a fan of the juice but alot the force induction guys use it for cooling effect and spool time. I always thought of it like a guy on steriod's. Totally artificial but then again I guess the same thing might be said about blowers and turbos, so to each there own.

That's a good trap for the 8th. Your 60' must have been pretty rough, cause you have the power for 8s easy. Everyone I see that traps in the mid 80s has ETs in the mid to low 8s

it was my first time at the track, so i was a little unsure of how this was gonna work out. also, normally my launch is horrible, on the street. so i tried to take off really smooth, still burned for about 15 feet or so. my r/t was like .8
