Re: The Official Blazer Forum Off Topic Thread part III
Anywho guys got the above issue solved.
Bought a 90 Ford Ranger 2wd 87445 miles on the clock. The guy who sold it to us works with my dad, it was his dads and they put him in a nursing home because at 80 years old he couldnt drive no more. He owned it from 92 till now and only drove 3500 miles a year. The interior is beautiful and the motor tranny are all up to spec. It had one breakdown in its life and that was for a bad battery, other than that the oil was changed every 3k at the Ford Dealer and any service it needed was done by Ford. I had my friends dad look it over and he gave it a green light. All fluids are like new condition. It has some rust one nasty spot on the door that just started and the old man tried to do some body work on it by spraying gray paint on over the white so thats my first priority. I paid 800 bucks and am pleased for my first ford. Got some ideas in mind like 3" body lift, traction bars, add a leaf, see whats out there front springs in the neighborhood of an 1" higher, a pair of PaceSetter headers with the y pipe a Duramax cat back system should be good. Also i may be wrong but for the most part i am going to try to just use Ford parts on it for the tuneup, oil change and what not. Ill be using aftermarket stuff for the main stuff that would go wrong. Also i might have not mentioned it but it has a 2.9V6, i have no idea what tranny as im not a ford boy lol so i gotta get on that but they have some nice stuff out there if its what i think it might be. It has a 195/70/14 tire rim combo now i hate the rims. I was perusing some ranger sites and can slap some 4x4 15x7 rims on there with a nice 235x75x15 tire so i am working towards that after the body lift and add a leaf. It also has a camper top which i would take off but cant because i have no where to store it at my house so its staying on plus with having 3 grown boys in the cab for school in the fall and winter ill need to keep our stuff dry and thatll work great. It has a double plastic bedliner which is nice. Anywho enough ramblings i gotta find some stuff for it and do some more research. Oh i spent about 25 bucks at walmart today for lifetime balance rotation mounting, new valve stems, and disposal of old tires because since the tires were the same size as the car i threw the 2 i didnt sell yet from the car onto the front of the truck because the old man hit a spike on one of his last trips with the truck and the tire had a big flap hanging on the sidewall. you can tell he liked it old school the wheels and the whitewalls say it all lol. So anywho ill stop rambling again.

Good luck Shawn, the truck sounds great. I recently added a 98 2wd Ranger to the family too - my first ford also. Here's a good sight I found with a ton of info in their tech section....

Re: The Official Blazer Forum Off Topic Thread part III
Lol you could not wait Mike till April of 07.
I really dont know what happened muzzy. I got up took a leak then felt this damn pain.
Here is plan: Correct me if i am wrong
1.5" Taller Coil Springs Front
1.5"-2" Add a leaf in the rear
0-2" stock to taller shocks in rear
traction bars and the posi for the rear
3" body lift so it meets with the suspension
Gap Guards Bumper Relocators and some body/cab mounts for that
I think thats all of it.

Re: The Official Blazer Forum Off Topic Thread part III
Lol mike gave that to me awhile ago.
Personally HP can goto hell. This run around for a monitor that is lost in there system is BS. I called the phone number they gave me this morning after confirming with the company that arranges for Fedex to pick up packages that indeed the package had shipped and that i was to check with them. I call HP and they tell me we got the shipment but it has been lost in there facilities. Someone can goto hell. This guy on the email support he can go there too because he is giving me a run around telling me to call FedEx and get tracking numbers. I asked HP for them and he said we have them and there not necessary.
