injectors working but not right.....
i have a 94 si i had a boosted 2 singles... befor i got my hands on a dohc .Boosting the sohc came to life with a noz fuel pump and a vortec fmu
with some check valves... i tryed runing the same setup with the b16a2.. lasted 1 night ... it melted the pistion in 5th gear doing 55 mph. so just as a joke i rebuilt the engine with some ls pistions... the next day to my amazment.. the motor runs strong.. i put in a chiped computer one day that i had barrowed and it went strong all the way to 9000rpm's so now that i got the low compression pistions in im thinking about boosting the retard motor.. i put some dsm 450 blue top injectors...got acorrd gromits so they would fit and got obd 1 injector clips as well as a resister box... put every thing together and it will start up but it runs like shit. i can slowly give it some gas and it will reach a high of 4500 rpms but sounds nasty.... am i missing something... or if any one can help... right now its running off of a non chipped p28 ecu |

if theres nothing controlling the injectors, of course its going to run like shit.
