Check for fuel pressure at the fuel rail. Also, does the engine sound normal when you crank it over, or does it seem faster or slower than usual? Pull a few spark plugs and describe how they look. Are they wet and black, do they smell like fuel? Are they completely dry, even after you've been cranking the engine in an attempt to start the car? Does the car start if you crack the throttle while cranking or even hold the throttle wide open while cranking?

Was there some change in the weather that coincides with the car not starting?

Did you try to start it with the throttle wide open? Holding the throttle all the way open turns off the fuel injectors, so if the car died due to being flooded, it should start after a few cranks with the throttle wide open. If it's flooding, you might have a bad coolant temperature sensor. You also could have an EGR valve that's stuck open since it should be closed for cold start and idle. It's also possible a bad PCV valve could cause the car to die while idling, as could a vacuum leak somewhere.
