Turn Signal Problems On A 1995 Cutlass Ciera S

I'm driving a
1995 Oldsmobile -Cutlass Ciera S. When I bought the car used, the only
problem I had was a left turn signal light that would not consistantly
work, and a disc brake indicator light that stayed on even though
there was no problem with the disc brakes. The turn signal switch was
replaced, and a new brake light switch was installed, solving both the
disc brake indicator light problem and the turn signal problem. Now
BOTH turn signals refuse to blink on, and the disc brake light is
back on and remains on. The emergency flashers work fine; the main
tailights work fine, but I can't get either turn signal to work. Any
ideas?

Did a previous owner wire it for trailer lights? If so the pigtail could be bad. Try removing it.
