Why wait for 3 dollars ? Hell I got one when it was 1.80,thinking damn that high.Now if i see gas for 2.30 i'm going get happy,Damn isn't that sad ? jax,fl Gas has jump about 40-70 cents higher depends where you go.Damn Isn't it amazing.Oh yeah about the locking gas cap,I had to take it off because it kept making my engine light come on.Something about not sealing right on the thing.

Some type of wal-mart crap.I went to 4wheelers(sells all type of stuff for trucks) and They had door locking gas covers(you know the swing door) they lock.But they wanted like 180 bucks for them,That's the only reason I didn't buy one yet.

did any1 even test to see if a hose would go past that restriction plate in the filler tube?
when I've tried to drain out stale gas out of a suzuki sidekick/geo tracker...the siphon hose would stop at a certain point & won't go into the tank. I eventually had to pull a hose from the fuel filter & jump the fuel pump to drain it out that way...
so, in some models, there's a restrictor screen somewhere in the fill tube... locking gas cap won't be needed for these type of vehicles.
