93-97 V8 is an LT1 98-02 its an LS1, just to clear it up. Also whats wrong with posting? Its all good, better than some parts of these forums where its a death valley.

Wait wait wait...i never said anything about posting being a bad thing..I think its a good thing. I just said that in some other forums, like it takes forever for people to post something so that being said I think that posting is a very good thing...and thanks for clearing up about the LS1 and LT1. Any ways..im not sure what he's going to do..now he's thinking about keeping the camaro he has and getting a jeep because he loves going mudding. So i have no clue..I'll leave that one up to him. lol

Re: Newbie!!
I know what she means. Over at thirdgen.org, they barely respiond to your posts sometimes, but here, us bo-zo's are always on to help the needy or agrivate one another. Formula, that kit is really good for the price, would it work with my car aswell, i was looking into getting some ignition stuff, but that there is very good for the pirce.

if he wants a TJ (96-present, round headlights) lifted with big ol tires on it, tell him to buy one that is close to what he wants cause it's way more expensive to do it yourself and it kills resale value. if he want a YJ(before-95, square headlights, like mine) tell him to look into a spring over axle conversion, if he's good with tools and a welder he can get from 8 to 12 inches of lift for like 300-600 dollars depending on what he's looking for
edit: also if he wants to go offroad, it'll be a lot more fun in 6cyl than 4 banger. and if he goes the YJ route be cautious of the peugot tranmissions, they can have a lot of problems. if you get one though make sure it shifts pretty easy and make sure that there's not very much if any grinding when you try to get it in a gear.

Screw a jeep, get a Hummer or H3. BUT not H2, those are too big.
