Re: 2000

I've been a member for 18 months and no I didn't get a chance to do up the new list yet. I have it in my head what I am going to put in it. Just haven't had time to write it down. I have like 6 different parts waiting to go in my car. I have tons of stuff for work to do and stuff I need to get out of the garage and sell, some of which needs to be finished up.. Kinda being torn in a million directions lately

Re: 2000

No, unfortantly. The last one I had, I traded in when I got the Z3 (I'm sure I will have another Vette soon though) and even thats gone now. I still have some random TPI stuff though. You should see my garage. It looks like 3 engines threw up its internals and then I have 2 engines sitting around on top of that.

Re: 2000

Just odds and ends, nothing worth bringing up. Like stock runners and a pressure regulator and some bolts. Nothing special.

Why'd you give up the Vettes? If it was me, i'd keep atleast one.

Im still shooting for a ZR1, but i'll be happy with just a C4 or C6

Re: 2000

Well the first C4 1985 Black TPI I had I got rid of cause I bought it when I was 18 cause I thought it was the cooliest shit ever cause it was modded big time but unfortantly it was too radical for its own good. I got tired of the cam stalling my car at every light and it was creating vacuum issue's , alot of headaches. So I sold that and bought a stock 87 Yellow TPI which was great but the mileage was really high and it started to have alot of issue that would always come up right when I had to get to class or get to my after school job. So it was going to cost me my degree and job but I still loved Vette's. So I traded it in for a low mileage 86 Red Vette which ran like a monster for 18 months and I modded it using my head not like my first one, but unfortantly C4's (especially early one's) are not meant for all around driving and unless you have a garage and another car which at the time I didn't. The Z3 really caught my eye and the 2.8's were quick and it was a perfect all around sports car for what I was looking for and I had come into a good job after I graduated. So got rid of my last Vette but knowing that one day I would without doubt own another one.
