the best place to get your battery power would be under the steeering column. red will be 12 volts, and brown will be your acc with key forward or reversed, the orange will be acc forward. and ground any good metal surface.

Thanks for the help, I thought it was a fluke b/c I listened to XM yesterday all afternoon with no problems, but this morning it was on for about 10 minutes then the whole unit turned off again...Very odd.
