tps was replaced because the computer scan came up as it being bad

So you have a defective knock sensor?

I would replace it. I am just starting to think this mechanic is taking you for a ride.

i dont know why he would be taking me for a ride he is a friend and im not getitng any labor charges so it would be a waste of his time to do so

I just thought I'd mention that my jimmy was sluggish after the rebuild too. I think it took time for the vehicle to relearn its shift points or harshness or whatever(especially if the battery is frequently disconnected for all your repairs). Maybe it just needs some miles.

my mom has a blazer sport so on and so forth was having acceleration problems, and the tranny and the torque converter came up as issues both checked out fine. wanna know what it was the fuel filter. so unless thats new try that.

Wonder if the new cat is already melted/blocked from the leaky fuel issue... that'll make an engine feel sluggish. I may be remembering incorrectly, but I think you can watch a vacuum gage during acceleration to see if your exhaust is restricted.

there is no fuel leaking issue and there wasnt one to begein with i just replaced the cpi because blaerlt thought that may have been the problem
