+1!

Couldn't agree with you more. Great pics PatrickT82, thanks. Most I have are small. Does anyone have accurate production run numbers? And for that matter, racing CLK-GTR pics?

Also, how can you tell/what are the differences between the supersport and the regular clk-gtr? I think at lemans they went from a V12 to a V8.

Re: some of my CLK-GTR and CLK-DTM pics!

^Pimp349, there were 25 CLK-GTR coupes produced last I heard. That number includes 21 road coupes and 4 racing versions (all had V12s, 1998 season). In 1999, rule changes only required manufacturers to build 1 street version of the racing version. That year, Mercedes (technically HDW) built the V8-based CLK-LM of which one street version was made.

It's kind of hard to say exactly how many chassis were made all together of the CLK-GTR coupe since the car didn't sell that well and HDW (the manufacturer) had many spare tubs. It's been said the SuperSports were made from the spare tubs and shouldn't be included in the original 25 coupes. I've also heard that the spare tubs were also the result of why 5 roadsters were made (at least 3 silver and 1 black).

Was it a coupe or roadster? Did you get a chance to take any pics? Thanks in advance!
