Exactly. It's intended to be a forum for people to address, in a civilized manner, a problem they are having with their car. It's a forum in which one hopes to get an intelligent answer to a reasonable question; an answer that may help them to repair the problem themselves and avoid having to take the vehicle to an expensive dealer.

Most of the people who frequent these forums are either do-it-yourselfers who enjoy doing their own work or people who may not have the money to run to a mechanic for everything. I would venture to say that the majority of us do not appreciate the tone that this family of threads has given the Impala forum as of late.
