hell i thought when his mustang was acting like a camaro for the last year i thought he was gonna say its fast....go figure. damn mustang drivers, always pointing out the down side of our cars. if a mustang were ment to go as fast as a camaro it would reach speeds required to break stuff. slow cars last 4ever.....god bless the mustang

If a mustang were meant to go as fast as a camaro???? it would BE a camaro.

Specifically a 1970 Maro with a big-ass 454, M22, and nuts so big they leave pot holes in the pavement (even when running on 7 cylinders).

I drove my Z last Saturday for the first time since November (was the first time I even saw my babe since then). I ran her the whole day and it was great being behind the wheel, but she's still got issues (which is why I decided to write off the whole summer and incorporate all these fixes into the tear down this fall)

Her issues…
At least one scorched ignition wire,
Minor fluid leaks from the behind the water pump, intake, and transmission,
An optispark and coil that have been sitting in this oil for a good 3+ years,
Catalytic converter that’s come apart internally,
PCM program that I’m pretty sure has gotten corrupted by crossing power programmer tuning, module tuning, and in-house GM tool tuning,

Her symptoms…
Won’t turn over until at least the second or third attempt,
Abnormally low idle (only 500 RPM when warmed up),
Shitty breaking at low speeds (thanks to the above),
Oil pressure gets sporadic when nearing time for an oil change (pressure rises during acceleration then suddenly dips down, then rises again)
And the sound of tin cans rattling underneath the car,

She looks fabulous – like a brand new car – but now she really sounds like a ten year old car… rattling and chugging and coughing LOL
No worries though; she’ll be running like a champ next spring.

That's funny cause a I would rather have 69 Boss429, 4-speed toploader, 9" wit dragpack. You can call it the Castrator cause it would cut those lil balls of your Camaro right off.

It is like a Camaro in speed.... so fast in gets off jackstands outta the garage and back in the same postion before anyone can see it. Just like a Camaro.....

You really think a modded 429 is competition for a modded 454? You're starting 25 cubic inches short of having testicles son.

NOW.. let's talk real world... You don't have a 69 Boss 429 shit heap, I DO have a 70 Maro with a modded 454 that runs low 11's on 7 cylinders. SO, keep dreaming son....
