That sucks. It's all a scam anyway.

That's odd though...we called my wife's last car the dent magnet, as it seemed to attract normally stationary objects to move suddenly and strike the sheet metal. Metal rods and chunks of broken concrete coming out of nowhere. By the time we sold it, everything but the trunk lid had been repaired and repainted after 3 visits to the body shop. She sold it because it felt "jinxed". However, our rates never increased. When we both got new vehicles and shopped around, it was downright amazing how much lower that company was. Doing everything on line is a big plus also.

It's funny, but my insurance rates on my old '90 Prelude with liability ONLY were higher than on my '02 Silverado with full coverage. Of course, I did change insurance companies. BTW, my Prelude insurance was with Liberty Mutual (they DID give me the best rate I could find on that car), and my Silverado is insured with Geico.

Re: silvy took a beating in the storm last night!!

I have State Farm and they are now using a policy that I have to take my truck to a hail repair place not a real body shop. I'm a little nervous about that. My wifes Altima has hail damage as well.

Has anyone worked with any of the hail repair places? Do they do quality work or should I fear my paint popping in a year?
