fact is, any car that you own will need maintanence. u can't get around that. but the reasons why we flamed u are:

1. u said u wanted a honda
2. u said that honda was going to be fast
3. u apparently don't like camaros anymore
4. even after people gave u advice on how to fix your car, u refuse to even attempt it

And the charger you just admitted is a total shit box that'll probably cost you more to get streetable than your maro will to fix... so your position doesn't add up and everyone is calling you on it.

One thing YOU ought to realize by now is that not even a new car is 100% dependable, how can you expect an old import to 100% dependable?? Your going to be dropping cash anyway... it's a burden of car ownership. If you want relatively cheap, maintenance free transportation go use public transportation.

Yes I was 16 and 17 but that was 3 years ago. It doesn't matter who is on the forums I'm telling you what is going on with my situation.

a: The camaro is costing alot to maintain, its not something I can afford.

b: The honda will cost a fraction to maintain plus I have a buddy who is a mechanic for them and can hook me up cheap with stuff.

c: the charger is (*possibly*) going to be *GIVEN-Free* to me. And I'm not going to put a fucking penny into it for atleast 6 months.

XENO!!! NOTHING IN LIFE IS FREE!!! Take that from someone who's been "out of the nest" for 13 years and supporting a wife (who doesn't work), 2 kids (soon 3), a dog that could technically count as 3 large water buffalos, a house, a fucking korean minivan and a maro that has also needs its tlc.

If you say you like your maro, go buy a $1000 beater (or a bike, it's summertime anyway and you could probably pick up like a 93 GSX or Katana for $1k) and save your cash, put a new heart in it, and while you're at it, fix the stuff that needs it. What, a new engine and all that other bullshit is going to run you $3K-$5K, less than you can buy a reliable honda for. And if you think you're going to buy a reliable import for under 3-5K you're out of your fucking mind. I've bought my fair share of beaters in the last 5 years, anything under $6k is almost worthless. $1000 will get you cheap immediate transportation that should last you for 3-4 months... then blow it up at an import show.

And by the way... I work 7 days a week, 80+ hours a week from January 1 to April 13... and 40-50 a week otherwise... if you can't earn the money to support your lifestyle than maybe you're right. But maintaining 2 cars ain't cheaper than maintaining one, you're out of your damn mind to think otherwise.
