I gotta say (showing my age here) that for me, most modern dashboards look like gloop, with all those soft rounded sombre grey etc plastik forms. Where's the passion? The exhuberance? AWOL I reckon.

I LERVED the dash of my '65 Buick Riviera GS, all chrome and wood everywhere and a speedo the size of a dinner-plate - beautifully integrated console sweeping right through the interior, and complete with a gorgeous chrome 'jet-tube' steering column.

The all-time ultimate, however, has to be the '61 Chrysler 300-F, with the electro-luminescent display - if you've ever seen one of those babies light up at night, and then use the digit to push that eerily soft-green glowing 'D' button on that pushbutton torqueflite auto .. gasp! - settle down, boy ..

I like those fancy sporty interiors, but my fav is the Lexus LS430. It has more Luxo interior features than any other luxo cruiser {see MT July'01}.

I've always liked Jaguar interiors.

Looks like they stole the AC vents from the latest generation Celicas , but none the less a nice interior. There are so many nice ones out there, but 2 personal favorites of mine are BMW and VW interiors (newest generations).

While I'll admit it is VERY nice. I'll also have to say that I have seen better.

TVR and BWM make the best interiors IMHO.

I sat in the new M3 and it was perfect. Never sat in a TVR but from pics they look killer all the way.

Personally I like the dodge viper's interior, it's small, but I like it a lot. It's really comfortable and snug.

About the original car interior- I think that the Acura exhibits exactly what a car's interior should look like: everything is right in front of you, and even without sitting in the cockpit, you know where everything is and what everything does. Everything seems where it "should" be. One thing however, I think that the buttons on the steering wheel look a little bit misplaced and even asymmetrical. Also, the shifter could look nicer too; it looks much too cheap.

Lemme know what you think.

THANK YOU!! the best damn interior ever is the 4th gen prelude...

(and not because i own one)

everything is easily accessable, the throw is very short, no reaching, the dash is clean, simple, and very cool....

but that second picture Mafi0s0....why is there a cheetah hanging from her engine? im just kidding man. but still theres a cheetah coming from her engine....

I don't care for the 4th Gen. Lude interior.
Just my opinion tho, so what does that matter right?

My favorite interior as of now for LUXURY would have to be the '03 7 Series interior. It's flat out PIMPED!

From a more "performance" aspect, and when I say "performance" I really mean "Drag Racing" , I think I like the Pontiac Trans Am interior. I'm probably biased on that one thogh, but I'll post a few pics of some in "drag trim" as soon as I can get a couple.
