You can do anything with the right amount of money.

It's probably faster than that Camaro.

A 73 with a 440 runs in the low 15s stock.

What would I want to work up on it? And how much am I looking to spend in time over it? If I get it.

Well if your Camaro has no modifications then it's unlikely that your new Charger, if you get it, will recieve any modifications either. We aren't familiar with your spending habits though.

They're nice cars.

Edelbrock makes a killer intake and heads for 318s that'll boost power, plus you can throw on 750 CFM carb and you will run 14s.

Re: Possibly can get a 73 charger need some info

lets see...there was an article in april 2003 hotrod mag...the one with the paint and hotrod model on the front, that has a 318 buildup. now, with 183k mi, this little motor did some work!! it had closed chamber heads, non-magnum from a 87-91 m body (casting number was 302) if you mill these down, get the m1 aluminum intake, the 750 will do, but could be a little big. definitely get the electronic distributor from mopar. it will help a lot!! a decent cam...and that little motor, only head work, with 183K miles, made 400hp!!! all for, you guessed it, 1500 bucks...depending on machine work. but, sorry for the long post, and hope you read this, but go find that mag. you can order a back issue from hotrodmagazine.com so do it, do it now!!! AND that car will run 13's easy with stock rearend with that motor.
