Re: Calling All Caprice owners.
I feel your pain. When I got my '94 9C1, my BIL told me to keep it in the garage, but the wife got the garage, sigh. Fortunately, I have 4 cops in my immediate, one way in and one way out neighborhood, so it seems pretty safe. Wow, I feel a karma here....9C1 vs. girlfriend! Tough choice isn't it!! Hope you get it back, and whole too.

Re: Calling All Caprice owners.
In my past I've owned a 1975 Caprice Classic bought it in 1986. Nice big car , spacious interior. I remember one winter going down the road, when the car in front of me stopped suddenly without signaling to make a left turn. Well, I applied my brakes, but the roads were too slippery. Ended up hitting a utility pole at 35 mph. No damage to the car whatsoever., (pole was fine too.) literally bounced off of it. Can't do that with today's cars. A couple of years after that I bought a 1970 Caprice, and in 1992 bought a 1964 Chevrolet Bel Air, ( I know it's not a Caprice, but it's in the same family.) I still have the '64 today, which I'm in the process of restoring.

Re: Calling All Caprice owners.
Bought an '85 Caprice (sorry, V6 4.3, no 125 mph for me) in 1996 with 36k mi. Now has 75 k, just re-painted 'gold'- except its tan if the sun doesn't shine on it directly. Better than the surface rust it was showing ...
Just changed tranny oil, performs lots better, still
hoping the over-rev going into third diminishes.

93 cap rice
I have one but I don't have any pictures. I need to get down with you thoug. I want to rebuild my original engine. I want to start from scratch. Do you know how long it takes to finish one to perfection. How can I get a copy of the manual. I already know how to fix almost everything on it, but the transmission and engine. I need help.

Actually, if you look back between posts 55 & 56 there was a 7 month lapse between posts. This last time was only a little over 2 months. Both times though the posters should've started new threads,( hey they're new give 'em a little break ) Your car looks like our old cop cars that our city used in the early to mid '90s. What color blue is that? Our cars used that blue with white lettering, then they switched to a white Caprice with gold and blue lettering. Now they went retro with the white and black colored cars.

Hey i have a 91 Caprice Wagon and i just spent like $1100 on wheels and tires for it. I've got dual exhaust and it has the stock 305 but i'm looking for a 350 with low miles from a 90's Caprice so i can swap the chip and everything. I'm putting a radio in it and hopefully i will tint the windows. I'll try to post some pics.

Re: Calling All Caprice owners.
I have a 9C1 X-RCMP crusier with the LT1 and the G80 rearend code. Just love it to bad the wife had to break her Ford Exploder with a H.O. 5.0 in it. Funny how she tells me that she beat this car and this car on her way home from work but she doesn't race the Exploder. HAHA that is why I am about to change the flex plate in it as the center of it some how broke. Well there is a possitive to her driving the 9C1 you see she really likes the chev we just might get her out of the blue oval and into a bowtie yet there still is hope. As for the pics can't get the car to stop long enough to get one. Greg missing my 9C1
