thought id give anime a shot.

well after a few years drawing nothing but cars I started going out of my mind. it stopped being fun. so I guess its time for me to try something completely different. i have absolutly no experience with anime/manga other than seeing a few shows. but I figured it's not gonna kill me to do a piece that doesnt have a car in it.
I cant stop drawing cars just yet so I figure ill finish the crx kit. and take a long break from cars and focus on the anime/manga thing for a while.
so here is my very first anime piece. took about an hour or so. but I think its a pretty good first attempt, but please feel free to comment or crit. it is in pencil because my current set up doesn't have any of the tools needed for anime/manga.

The head looks good, but it's too big for the shoulders.

Re: thought id give anime a shot.

yeah I thought the shoulders were too small but its an easy fix. the only real problem is finding the time to do it.
