Re: Need to know what this wire set and connector plug in

#1, maybe tach wires if your car doesnt have a tach.

#2. not only can you crop the picture in photoshop cs, but if you click the image toolbar, you can click "image size" and scale it down. and save it in a different jpg compression so that it is even faster to load on the web. or you can send your stuff to me and i will scale em down for you and send em back.

Everything on the car working fine? I still say it's a hook up for GM test eq. or something that maybe on other cars but not yours.

~Larry~

To do a Screen Shot, press Ctrl and Print Screen at the same time when the image you want is on the screen. Ctrl is on the bottom left of the keyboard or the bottom right under the Enter key. Print Screen is on the top row by the F# buttons, to the right.

Just in case you hadn't figured it out yet.

Big-L: another way you can do this is
1. open your Windows paint program
2. Then bring up the screen you want the pic of and hit the Print Screen
Key
3. Go bck to the paint program, under file select paste.

After that you can play around with it and save it to differant formats.

Digressing from the topic here but I feel the need to help Big-L in any way I can (considering how much he helps everyone else).

Photoshop CS is a big and powerful program and way overkill if all you want to do is resize and crop some pictures. Try downloading this...

http://downloads-zdnet.com.com/3000-2192-10021962.html

Infranview is one of many simple picture editing tools. Here are the basics you're looking for...

Rezising the picture -
Once you open the picture [file-->open-->(choose the picture)] you can resize it by clicking [image-->resize/resample-->(choose size)]. There you can either specify the size or simply change the percentage from the original.

Cropping the picture -
Once you open the picture [file-->open-->(choose the picture)] you can crop it (trim the picture down buy cutting off the outside borders). Simply select the area you want to keep. Do this by first selecting the part you want to keep (click then while holding the button down drag to the shape you want). The lines that make the square are where the picture will be cut. Now click [edit-->crop selection]. You're done.

If at anytime you mess it up, just click [edit-->undo] to undo what you just did. Once you're satisfied with the results... save the file [file-->save as]. By "save as" you give it a new name which keeps the original unchanged.

Hope this helps :-)
