I believe the issue wasn't the firing order, but that the picture shows #1 cylinder to be in the center of engine rather then the front where it should be.

I can not comment on 95 but my 99 has #1 and #3 reversed on your diagram. ...and I too have a "W" engine. Don't take my word for call a service tech.....

I just checked the Haynes manual, it is saying what you are saying.

This is friggin confusing.

That's a 10-4 good buddy..AllDataDIY shows the correct way too...

I'd show you but don't know how to show a diagram like you did....

...anyway...this is all I am saying...we get ourselves into trouble withouteven knowing it unless we check and recheck....
