Re: Usher Portrait

woohoo! now I just need to figure out how to make it full size w/o having to click on it. Anyways, Im not a huge Usher fan, but when I saw the picture, it looked like it would make a great drawing. Its a 12" x 18", and i drew it with a bic mechanical.. i always use mechanicals lol.

Re: Usher Portrait

Needs some more shading value though.

not Usher!!!!
No, not really, it looks good.....Hate him but you have a good eye for a portrait. A little more contrast in the shading and I think will make a big difference.

Lips are off, but the eyes are real good. I am also doing a portrait of a singer right now. Its of Shyne. Im doing it with Color Pencils and Airbrush.

Re: Usher Portrait

thanks for the feedback guys. yea, the lips were tough, I re did them a few times until I decided it wasnt gonna get any better with all the other mistakes I had made on the proportions of the face. I drew that picture in one night though, I just charged right through it. I wish I had a better quality photo of it, I took that one with my webcam which gets awful quality. I'll try to scan some of my other drawings, Ive got a few that are awesome.
