Have to agree with what has been said already about the rims and tyres.
I'm still finding it hard to believe you have chopped the roof off this classic car!!!

Re: in progress-1/12 '69 chevy camaro convertible...
WOW!
Absolutely amazing, I like the paint and the wheel design the most. Very nice stance and tires could be a little bigger but not much! I can't believe the amount of detail on a 1/12 scale(I gotta. Are the wheels actually screwed on to the axles via lugnuts!?!
p.s. Does anyone know if there are any 1/12 Chevelles available??

thanks,
yes that's right wheels are screwed on the axles via machined lugnuts,
but for 1/12 chevelles i think there is no models available,if one day it will be done i will be one of the first to buy it,
i currently work on the interior, new flocking floor, new seats(home made design with leather and seat belts),new dash board, and a little bit of sound(don't worry just a little),
unfortunatly pics in 2 weeks because i don't work fast because i'm not at home...
tahnks again, the engine bay is detailled again(more detailled)...

the "little brake" was the roof long and why are you so shocked by this chop?yeah i prefer it with it but the convertible is cool too,
it will be a modern street machine, and i am proud of it seeing from what i started, and i won't be able to build it stock because the previous owner lost some parts and when i received it there were not the stock wheels so it would be difficult to build a stock version(even if i like it but i like modified cars more)and i don't think it is not too "distressing",
thanks for the comments,

Revell-Monogram...
They released a 70 Chevelle SS454 in 1/24 scale back in the early-80's (still easily found) but never in 1/12. The only cars they've done in 1/12 are the '69 Camaro, '67 Stingray Coupe, and '57 Chevy Bel-Air. All of these kits were made from the 1/24 masters so it could feasibly be inexpensive to do, but they'd have to do more underhood work as the SS454 kit had the m/c, a/c, battery, and wheel-wells molded-into the engine compartment. The body was spot-on, though!

Re: in progress-1/12 '69 chevy camaro convertible...
Hey Nicolas, I love your Convertible!! I give you points for " ORIGINALITY". Never seen or thougth of building a Convertible before WOW! I give you points for the wheels too.. you say you had to make them? Over here in the U.S. its really hard for us to find wheels so making them means you have a great talent. What machine did you make them with? When will you be done with the interior? I been waiting......
