Radio Digital Display Not Working
Hello,
I'm new to this forum, I've had my '94 Infiniti J30t since March 2004, and i LOVE it. Just last week, my digital display on the stereo went out, everything else works just fine, I can still control the volume, change the stations and play a cd. Is this a "fuse" thing, i'm hoping it is a quick fix issue. any feedback? |

Re: Radio Digital Display Not Working
not sure what the problem is, worse case scenario you can send it in to an online specialty shop, and for 150$ theyll fix any problems with your unit

wow
150?!? jeez just buy another cd player to go in it... more than likely that sounds like a fuse though.

Mine TOO!!!
I'm new to these forums, so I'm surprised I found your post. The digital display on my 1996 J30 stereo is also out. Occasionally it flickers back to life, and the stereo itself works just fine.
If you happen to figure out what the problem is and how to solve it, please please please let me know..... THANKS! |

Re: Radio Digital Display Not Working
Vishesh, about 3 days ago it came back on (my digital display) then died out again... very strange.. it must be a loose connection. It was good news for me when i saw it light up again.. I was told that it had burned out. Now i know it can hopefully be fixed..
i'll keep you posted.. does anyone know how to fix this ??? |

Re: Radio Digital Display Not Working
it could be a fracture in the circuit board....you might be able to get it repaird cheap locally or you can go here: http://www.johnson-electronic.com/pages/1/index.htm 150$ and they will fix everything....I recomend it!

Re: Re: Radio Digital Display Not Working
Please clarify. If it's a fracture in the stereo's circuit board, the whole stereo would periodically fail. My stereo works fine all the time, music can be played whenever I want. It's the display that periodically zonks out.
I hope your post wasn't just a cheap plug for johnson electronic. Quote:
