hahaha yeah it is. Its just sitting on there. Notice no bolts. it came off of a ford. So it was setup a bit different. Just havent taken the time to put the new parts on it and set it up for a chevy.

lol yeah its just all sitting together right now. havent ordered the gaskets yet. Thinking about going with a thin steel mesh head gasket on it. Wanting to try and get 10.5 to 10.7 compression and I know if I go with a thinner head gasket I might be able to get it.

Re: off topic question

yea i see that, i figured you just slapped it on there for the pic, but it looks like if you jus turn it around it should work fine, is the linkage on the carb different or something

Re: off topic question

ok now you have some explaning to do. when you listed what you had you listed that the jetting is 81 up front and 78 in the rear. now if you look at the carb in the picture, it has the jetting wrighten on the floab bowls. and it says 81 on one side and 78 on the other. now if you know how it was really saposed to be you would have stated that the jets were 78 up front and 81 in the rear as if the carb was turned around sitting corectly. i think your blowen smoke.

eehh it was the way the guy had it setup on his ford. He said it was sitting beside another one sideways. Not sure on that... dual 750's is kind of nuts... but eh why not I guess... the carb was only 75 bux and is in great shape! lol yeah its pretty much together for shit talkers and such. That and putting everything together helps protect shit...

For fucking crying out loud I will go turn the damn thing around and take another fucking pic. its suppose to be 81 up front and 78 rear is what I am told the jetting I need is suppose to be.

Re: off topic question

by the way if you know what rockers did they multiply the actualy lift of the cam. most cams listed for sbc's are listed with the lift for 1.5 rockers, unless otherwise stated. now when you run 1.7's you would devide the advertised lift by 1.5, to find the cams actualy lift, and them multiple that number by 1.7. with your spacific cam you said it would net a total value of .583 lift.

Re: off topic question

even if you turn the carb around it still doesnt change the fact that the numbers you stated are right on the float bowls.

Bought the cam from a friend its new but minus a box and yes I know its a lunati and its a bracket master. he wouldnt screw me over. I will admit to being new to some of this stuff (mainly to some of the carb world). figure it is rated at 1.5 but not sure. It didnt come with any paper work.

Re: off topic question

well you put up the link to summer racing. it says what it is right there. you keep saying stuff about jegs and summit, its almost like you just keep putting out info that you have herd/read. i dont mean to be a dick, i know i come across like that, but i dont like when people state incorect info. now i am not perfect by any means, i cant spell to save my life, but i will debate something with someone and then call them on it if i feel i can.
