yea ny is the same way....i got some touch up/scratch filler paint for my car...needed to fill some sratches so they didnt rust because i dont have the money to get it painted yet (this summer i hope)..and it doenst really match up because my car is so faded

I would suggest using the enamel or lacuer touch up paint and wait 24 hours and use a finishing compound on the hood with a aplicator sponge , rub hard in a circular motion and cover the entire surface evenly wipe it off real good and put a sealant on it so it stays nice for a while. It makes the colors blend in good.
