Isuzu Rodeo Two Rear Doors Will Not Open

MY 1993 ISUZU RODEO(V6 AUTOMATIC) WAS HATE BY A TEEN-AGER BUT ONLY THE DRIVERSIDE DOOR WAS CRASHED. THOUGH THE DRIVERSIDE DOORS AND THE POWER LOCK SYSTEM HAVE BEEN REPLACED TWICE BUT THE TWO REARS DOORS AND THE BACK WINSHEILD WILL NOT UNLOCK.

THE POWER SYSTEM CONTROLS THE FRONT DOORS AND ALL FOUR WINDOW GLASSES. THE REAR DOORS KNOBS SEEMED TO BE POPPING UP AND DOWN WHEN THE LOCK/UNLOCK BOTTOM IS PRESSED BUT WILL NOT OPEN.

IS THERE MANUAL PROCESS TO HAVE THE ABOVE MENTIONED DOORS OPEN?

PLEASE HELP

YOU ALSO E-MAIL ME @ jykj@yahoo.com

my '94 rodeo has same problem. back doors don't seem to unlock. buttons aren't actually coming all the way up when unlocking. if i reach in from front , i can pull them the rest of way up & they open. it's only about 1/8" but enough to keep it from opening.

I'm not sure about jkrodeo's problem, but I do know what is wrong with janec's doors. Remove the door panel and inside there is a little plastic linkage guide that twists in to the door. It has come loose. It's just enough to make the linkage sloppy and keep the door from unlocking. Use an appropriate screw driver to reattach the clips to the door.

Re: Isuzu Rodeo Two Rear Doors Will Not Open

My Rodeo has the same unlocking problem as Janec's. Now I know what to look for. Thanks, CF.
