field hockey is different than ice hockey...
and you can't compare a goalie to a soccer player, cause goalies never get hurt they have all that padding cause there are solid pucks being shot at them at a 100mph
you can compare a hockey goalie to a soccer goalie.... and soccer goalies get hurt pretty rarely me thinks
now you compare a football player or ice hockey player to a soccer player i think there's a big difference. Lets see i'm pretty sure a soccer player gets a penalty for body checking somebody, while thats totally legal in a hockey game, it's part of the game. Or bone crunching hits in football, don't see many of those in soccer
i guess it all comes down to opinion though.....
