Re: how many of u would like honda to reintruduce the crx again
If they do bring it back and it is not RWD I will laugh my ass off. It will be even easier to beat (in first gear). lol!

No I'm serious
Honda needs a cheap RWD car, think about how much better an old CRX would be if it were RWD.

Re: Re: Re: Re: how many of u would like honda to reintruduce the crx again
But what are the odds? Why on earth would Honda make a new CRX, let alone a RWD one? Sure, its seems like it would be more fun, but it just doesn't make sense. Honda doesn't make many RWD vehicles, why would they make an econobox RWD?
Imagine how shitty a RWD car with 100lbs-ft and 110hp would be.

I'm talking new Si cheap, not a piece of shit econobox. Something with atleast 140hp for the base model & possibly using the new 200HP type-r engine or even de-tuned a S2K power plant.
I don't think I will ever own a FWD car again.

Yay, the 2005 Honda CRX (DFT) model.
rear wheel drive. V6 turbo. yeah, a Honda CRX drift car. NOT
I agree with the rest of you. Let it go, if your grandmother dies, you don't go out looking for another one.
The 2G CRX was one fo the best cars Honda ever put out. Don't try to bring it back, especially with the new body style, cause that's just lame.Plus, I like the fact that I don't see too many on the road anymore (at least not where I live). The fact that it's a rare occasion to see one in good condition is nice.
Anyway, just my opinion.

honda do make make rwd vehicles, the s2k and the nsx because they want it to be a true sports car. still though rwd in a honda is out of the norm. as far as new crx, i've been waiting a long time for this, it wouldn't ruin the old beloved classic, but instead brings back the tradition and updated style. i believe they will only be place next to each other, instead of one over the other. what was dissopointing was when they stop making the crx for the del sol, which was suppose to be the next gen crx .

I know that Honda makes some RWD cars but they're all Hondas performance oriented cars, thats why I said:

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: how many of u would like honda to reintruduce the crx again
All I can say is, Honda needs an entry level RWD car, doesn't have to be called the CRX. Who cares what its called, they just need a RWD period.
Look a BMW & Benz, when was the last time they made a FWD car? NEVER and probably never will. FWD can not have or never will have the handling a RWD car.
If Honda were to build a FWD and RWD version of any of their cars - which will handle better & have more potenial? RWD-bottom line!

Apples - Oranges
Look at the cost of BMWs! How can you even be comparing the two.
Honda Civics are econoboxes meant to get groceries, be cheap to buy, and give good gas milage.
Honda doesn't want to make cheap perfomance oriented cars. It wouldn't even make sense, I'm sure their FWD Civics sell well enough they have no reason to care about an entry level RWD car.

When did I compare a BMW to a Honda, Honda will never be what BMW's are & never will be. I was comparing RWD to FWD, not BMW to Honda
I give up with this thread!

they can do that with a RWD version - FWD sucks plain & simple at least in my opinion!

just because honda makes a fwd car doesn't always means its handling is inferior against rwd. the honda prelude sh was awarded the best handling vehicle under 30,000. it went against some tough opponents such as a fwd miata, a rwd corvette z28, and an awd eagle talon tsi. two other competitors were the bmw 318i and the ford contour. so just because it's fwd, doesn't automatically mean that it's crap. if given an option between rwd and fwd, i would also go with rwd, but what your stating is more of a biased opinion because of your preference.
heres the link, just go to prelude sh

As a matter of personal opinion, I dislike RWD very much.... I cannot wait to get rid of my Camaro once my Civic is back on the road.
In my opinion, good handling is all a matter of personal opinion... I like the 'way' my Civic handles in turns much better than the 'way' my camaro handles...
Where as you don't believe you'll ever own another FWD vehicle, I don't believe I'll ever own another RWD vehicle.... AWD perhaps, but not RWD.
Again, this is a matter of my own personal opinion.
