So, I guess if something bad or embarrasing happens to you, you won't mind if people laugh their ass off as they humilate you? What a sick sense of humor is right! Do you have kids of your own, or are you a kid yourself?

Being the fence sitter of a Canadian I am, I can see both sides.

It was probably entertaing to watch him run away crying, assuming he hadn't been traumatized prior to that. But at the tsame time 1/100 inch thick screening won't stop a Husky (Momentum = mass x velocity) so if I was some young kid and saw a Husky bolt to the door barking, I would probably cry too.

Definitely not funny- Surely you remember how confusing life was when you were a kid- he was probably a reasonable kid too- find the kid and buy a candy bar for the price of two just for being sadistic.

I used to own a Husky as well. She was a real people person EXCEPT for Jehovah Witnesses. She'd growl and get her hackles up every time they'd try and come up the driveway. I guess she could sense that I really hated those guys and was voicing my opinion for me.

I have no problem with a dog that barks or growls when a stranger comes to the door. Heck, that’s a reason people get them. As long as the dog is under control – the more nasty the snarling sounds, the better.

I don’t think the story was funny but I might have thought differently if I saw it myself.

I remember a little kid who had a dog bite his face and had to go to the hospital for stitches - after that even a chihuahua would have him running for cover.
Theres a case like this going on in Fort Wayne... A husky was chained up in his yard and a little boy (maybe 3-4) came in the dogs yard and the dog attacked him. The boy needed like 1500-2000 stitches. So now they are arguing if they should put the dog to sleep or not.

Be careful, you dont want you dog put to sleep.

you all took this the wrong way, maybe it would have been scary if i was the kid, but the fact is my dog was sleeping then opened her eyes and started barking, she didnt stand up or bolt towards the door as you might think, she was 5 ft from the door laying down, the fact is it was funny to me and i dont care what you think

What a sick person to be happy to make fun of a young kid trying hard to do something for himself, and to gloat about it too .

*Looks around*

I think it's funny.

Having said that I now realize that I am a horrible horrible person for laughing at the fear and ignorance of another, less developed soul.

Geez, No one said "Thats to funny!! HAHAHA What a little fucker of a kid, it would have been funnier if the dog had lept through the window and mauled the kid to death in the drive way and brought the candy back toyou"

Now that wouldn't have been funny...

that is pretty funny. its not the dog's fault, its not even his fault. the kid should have learned his lesson.
