This is the perfect chance for me to get a couple bikes and try my had at building something different. I wont be able to make it there till friday though
I also noticed that they have acrylic tube paints half price. I know alot of people who do Gundam models and thin down tube paints to spray through an airbrush. Has anyone here thought about thinning them down and using them on their models?

I got my last GT3 there for under $14. Sale runs through Saturday. What part of Atl. do you live? We've got a good model car club, ACME-that meets 3rd Sun. of every month in Smyrna at the community center, and we have a big show every November at the same place. It's near Auto Motif if you've heard of that. We're also involved in some "art in the park" thing at Centennial Park on the 23rd. We'll have a tent and will be bringing some of our models and doing a few simple demos.

Made the trek to Hobby Lobby to see the 1/2 price models.
Came home with a 1/2 price picture frame instead.
Life is good, especially when you've got a basement full of models, and nothing at the store was tempting enough to bring home.

Yeah, I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday and got a Tamiya Yamaha YZF-R1 for like $12. I also live in Atlanta (Gwinnett) and their selection is pretty slim, save for a Porsche GT3.

I moved into my new apartment on friday and hit the sale saturday morning. I picked up a Yam R-1, Kawasaki Ninja 12R, and a really cheap pin vice. With no cable and no internet, I spend most of saturday drilling out the brakes. I thought I was going to go crazy
