Has anyone come up with an easy fix for this? My 99 does the same thing. I do have a bug deflector on it which I need to remove to see if it helps. Anyone else have any advice?

Thanks!

blue comic I've got a '99 4X4 that was doing the same thing. I popped off the window latch and switched it with the driver's side. My problem followed the latch. I then inspected the latches and noticed that there was a small plastic tab inside the latch that had been bent over and almost broken off. I put a dab of super glue on the tab, bent it back over so it was stright (being careful not to break it completely off), held it in place till it was dry, and that fixxed the problem. I left the repaired window latch on the driver's side since I only have 3 doors and most backseat passengers end up staying on the passenger's side. I figured it would get less use on the driver's side and be less likely to fail again. That's been a year ago and I've not had a problem since. Good Luck!
