All of the above. I just don't get why you'd need a car that big,
they're ugly,
get horrid gas milelage,
roll over in the slightest turn,
it'll crush anything smaller than it.......do I need to keep on about this?

old cars: 90's buick skylark and oldsmobile cutlass, Avanti, 90's Chevy Caprice (especially the wagon with the wood on the side!)

People who want to go out and buy a new car along the lines of a Scion is the result of years of research *snicker* at absurd shows like Hot Import Nights to develop something for the new gereration of drivers. People get hyped up from adverts and publicity with no prior knowledge of anything to do with cars. Dumb kids get what they're told is made for them and it's hip and other sweetened lines to grab their attention. Rarely does anyone look into what the car is and whether or not it does what its supposed to do. All the subs, neon and nitrous in the world still can't make true, the fact that these new cars are worth taking a second glance at.

"So much room" Any old American granny yacht.
Add to that the feeling of riding on air in your la-z-boy recliner and air conditioning that can practically grow ice on the vents and you have a real road trip vehicle. Not a Scion Xb.
The Scion Xb is a marketing ploy that probably didn't cost Toyota jack shit to make, (another plastic fantastic, didn't cost a dime to design the looks of it, uses minimal parts), and for some reason, people enjoy buying a box on wheels. Shrink a Kenworth or Peterbuilt Semi. They'd look better and run longer, but still be just as boxy as anyone likeing Scions could love.

There are a lot of ugly cars I just can't choose one! All Scions, Aztek, Avalanche, anything from Nissan, Element take your pick!
