Ford GT Le Mans - Chip Ganassi Racing

Another finished model, this time the Ford GT Le Mans, revell model, number 67 car from Chip Ganassi Racing.
PE from S27, carbon decals, and detailing from decalcas were used.

What are the black things under the car's rear end?

Absolutely awesome! Especially for a Revell kit. Seeing only the pics, I would have guessed Tamiya.
Fantastic!

I meant the kit quality in general. I don't know the specific kits of either Revell or Tamiya.

Re: Ford GT Le Mans - Chip Ganassi Racing

Thanks to everyone for the comments, the Revell models are really inferior to the Tamiya, but I confess that I didn't have any big problems in this construction, I will now start the Ford Gt Tamiya, so I can have a better opinion.

The black things that I thought are exhaust pipes that almost touch the ground.

This is the air deflectors that improve aerodynamics.

It’s a diffuser... It allows the air that has travelled under the car to expand as it exits. This creates a low pressure area that ‘sucks’ the rear end of the car down.

Beautiful build Sir, especially for a Revell kit!
What type of clear coat do you use?

Thanks friend, I use a ceramic varnish from a manufacturer here in Brazil, DRYCOLOR.
