2002 330I OBD II Code P0741

We have a 2002 330I BMW approx 197K miles. This morning we started and drove approximately 12 miles and ran excellent. Went back this afternoon and the tried to start the car and wouldn’t start. Had power everything, windows radio etc worked but when you turned the key to the start position NOTHING! Checked battery and the battery had 12.6V with very clean connections. Installed OBD II reader and got a “P0741 Tongue Converter CKT Performance or Stuck off” code.
Would this keep the vehicle from starting?
Any suggestions?

Must not have many BMW enthusiasts!!! But the problem was the key. We replaced the key and everything is back to normal. Well except the OBDII code we’re still working to resolve that issue. We will provide a post when that is also resolved.

Sorry for the delay. It was the key. Went to a BMW dealer (the only place you can get a replacement) purchased a spare key. Started right up and drove it home.
